Our Handy Idea: A Small Business and Independent Retailer Resources Site

business guide Over 60 years ago, we opened our doors as a small business, and today we play an integral part in helping our customers launch their businesses. Business owners come to us every day to purchase store fixtures that help effectively display and move merchandise.

We’ve learned a lot about small businesses and independent retailers in our 60 years, and so we’re pleased to announce we have begun a new website, www.handybusinessguide.com, to further assist companies just starting up. We’re here to lend a hand to your small business needs, any way we can.

Handy Store Fixtures knows the hard work required to open a new business, and understands the obstacles store owners face. That’s why we have sales representatives with over 30 years of experience working with start-ups.

The new site features small business resource guides for the United States, as well as specifically to New Jersey and New York. These guides are courtesy of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), and offer a plethora of information for small business owners.

You can also find the latest small business and independent retailer news, and ten steps to start a business. With help from the SBA, we’ve put together some great advice on how to get your business started. From writing a business plan to registering for taxes and obtaining licenses and permits, if you need help, our new site has the resources.

Visit us today to check out the new site. Post below and let us know what you think, and what kind of information you’d like to see there in the future.
